Testing the calculations for throwing objects (it doesn't 'pick up' the objects before throwing them yet)

This is a custom Lua script I was working on, the original DOG has no attack AI. I lost the code a while ago when reformatting my PC, so it's not going to be released.

  • the only way i could see it picking it up is with some g variables/apply force, (weld to nearest prop and than apply force to itself)

  • I was able to get it to 'pick up' stuff by using the throw animation and parenting the object to a special attachment point used for that animation, but that ended up permanently disabling physics on the object that was going to be thrown.
