http://www.flyfishingoutfitters.com/p/s/viewitem.aspx?sid=rls-ABE-SUPR-S5N. Whether you're hunting large brown trout in New Zealand or need a light tackle solution for Christmas Island bonefish, redfish or half pound steelies, the Abel Super 5N is the fly fishing reel for you. This newest member of the Abel Super Series is perfectly suited for 5 to 6 line weights and rods and was specially designed with a narrow spool for faster line retrieval and a slim profile. The Super 5N has everything you have come to expect from Abel; a smooth-as-silk large cork disc drag coupled with hard-as-nails anodizing for a lifetime of corrosion protection. At only 5.7 ounces, the Abel Super 5N is light for a draw bar drag design, yet rugged enough to withstand the rigors of backcountry use. So, as the Kiwis say "Put on your boots and shorts, mate, as we got trout to catch in the bush!"

  • Dashwood, probably owns a competition reel. Wait!! Abel doesn't have competition they are the best. Dashwood just talks couse he has a mouth. Abel reels RULE!!

  • @hlake911 I'm guessing he doesn't fly fish at all.

  • @dashwood123 you dont flyfish much do you.

Cork is the best for lightweight fly rods and even is stil good for larger fly weights.

  • I should test it ! lol

  • Most of the time I would not pay that much for a reel. but from her....I might. Odd, most of the women in SF are fat beasts.

  • Great Video!!! Love Da Abels

  • Jen could probably out fish most of you guys. nice reel, great fisherwomen, she is super knowledgeable of products and rivers. put on your big boy pants and just know she is better than you. sorry

  • Why does a 5wt reel need 125 YARDS of 20lb backing, with a fly line thats 155 YARDS. And this is for catching what, small trout in a brook. You can not be serious. Do Abel know anything about fly fishing? They use cork for a disc drag, it doesnt it get any cheaper, and the clutch mechanism is as basic as it gets. The faster line retrieve relies on how fast can you can turn the handle which is the same on all basic fly reels.

  • I think it´s realy nice listening to her no matter what you guys say, flawless speaking about great reel. This is better then unpracticed male speaking with his ass about some fishing product :D

  • Wow! You guys are brutal. Who cares if she is reading from cue cards. Really!?!? Who cares! Shes HOT, the reel is excellent quality, and its nice to see a woman with some fishing chops rather than the tools you normally see on TV.
