@iamnicholas1 I have a CRF250R, i use 2nd gear everytime and shift to 3rd almost right after the gate drops. First gear on my bike is way too short

@iamnicholas1 depends what bike you have and the conditions, my friend has a 125cc and uses first where i also have a 125cc and i use 2nd- because my jets settings, most people use second but just practice a couple of weeks before your race and see whats better :)
