During the events of September 11th I was a college student in Gainesville, Florida. That day changed me inside and out and I began to noticed the change in everyone around me as well. Everywhere I looked I saw the American Flag. Never before in my life had I witnessed this level of patriotism. It inspired me to hang the American flag on the window of my car and apartment also. This video is the story of how one month later in October of 2001 I was forced to remove my American flag. But, through free speech via e-mails to my local news station, congressmen and governor I was able to put the flag back up.
I'm very proud of this video because I took a stand for something I believed in. My message to young people and everyone out there is that apathy is not the answer. Get out there and help change your world.
The song that plays in the background at some points during the video is Tally Hall's Just Apathy
