There is A Devil :: Tyson ft. Azeem and DJ Anas Canon

This is a performance music video I wrote and directed for Bay Area hip hop artists "Tyson" and "Azeem" in 2008.

The song called "There is A Devil" is essentially about how the media and world powers control the masses for reasons of money and power. I scripted a video that uses fast paced editing and layers to give it a raw, edgy Fight Club / Matrix feel. I wanted to visually support the songs theme.

Throughout the video I insert subliminal imagery (pics of JP Morgan, Darwin, Baphomet, etc) to, again, show a visual manifestation what the song is accusing the media of doing.

The end result is a hyper fast paced visual representation of the lyrics. We shot this video in less than 2 hours and edited in 3 days.
