  • can i use my nike shox if i forget the corkscrew?

  • @ruizgabriel123 Can't hurt to try?! Let us know if the shox work as well or better than a normal shoe!

  • @ylreveb23 Hi there, thanks for viewing our video. We would be happy to demo the technique live for you one day! In the meantime, notice the red wrapping is peeled off before he begins using his shoe. You can tell it's not empty as the cork is still sealed in. Make sure to take off the wrapping before attempting as the cork needs room to move out of the bottle. Thanks for watching!

  • you dumb f-s, of course it works. I've done it before, but by just banging the bottom of the bottle on a fallen tree trunk (which is a little scary because you wonder if the bottle might break). So I like the shoe add-on. If you don't think it works, why don't you try it first before slagging the guy.

Thank you for a class response to such a no class comment.

  • This was a lesson I learned in college over 25 yrs ago. But we used a wonderful old california oak tree and wrapped the bottle with a sweat shirt. Then did exactly what he has described above with the bottle wrapped in the sweat shirt. It does work with regular corks. i have not tried it with the synthetic ones.

  • Tried this, didn't do a thing. Maybe it only works on very specific types of corks, or bottles, or wines.
