Do people REALLY want to have 12 round bouts of straight technical boxing? I'm sorry, but that'll get boring.

I mean would we REALLY want to play a baseball game that lasted as long as a real one? Would you really like to see a batter step out of the box after every foul tip or have extended breaks between innings to mirror the RL thing?

It's a simulation. I like the inclusion of inside fighting and dynamic physics to determine who gets hit or not.

tried that on the demo. i stayed on the outside with pacquiao and tried to jab, but somehow, hatton was faster than me, and he would counter my JAB with haymakers all the time, to the point that it got ridiculous. then i said "F it", i did nothing but throw haymakers and i knocked him down twice, then game still has a long way to go.

fight night is only a punch fest if you make it that way. i guess all you can do to make things seem real is weave in and out and take time between punches

i thought they took the buttons out of the game to avoid punchfests? I guess they just took it out to piss ALOT of people off...

I agree. It does look more like a punch fest than boxing. Other than the graphics, the movements how they move from punches and jukes they don't look realistic and smooth at all.
