The last chapter was omitted in the American publication of the novel. It was in the original novel published in England. The book originally had 3 parts 7 chapters each. The way it was written was supposed to mirror many classical pieces.

to anyone who hasn't read the book, I highly recommend it. It's more disturbing as far as what alex does, but the ending actually makes a lot more sense. The movie was actually based on the american version of the book, which omitted the entire last chapter, and that last chapter was amazing, and made the entire thing make sense. Very disturbing scene this is, even though you don't see the rape or hear it, just knowing what is going on is enough to disturb you. Very good use or less is more.

Wha's the matter everybody, Alex is just performing a lil old in out in out? but yea that scene is very disturbing but somehow i keep finding myself watching it over and over again (not just that scene but the whole movie.)

As for disturbing I find the writer's mumbling with that ball and tape over his mouth, knowing what it is that he sees :| Makes one wanna give him the advice to be ready with a firearms when Alex and his droogs come for a visit.
