A snake walk at The Wilderness Center produced many snakes for the children to pick up and learn about. Naturalist, Carrie Elvey talks about snakes to the children as they hold and study them.

  • No. In Northeast Ohio we don't have any poisonous snakes.

  • doesnt that snake bite

  • All snakes can bite, but these are baby snakes and have tiny little teeth that you wouldn't even feel if they did bite you. Our snakes for education purposes are held by out naturalists and they prevent them from biting children, although they rarely, if ever, bite.
