@ProbableHypothesis I so agree, problem is, China and Japan only have so much money we can borrow and never pay back................
-
Clearly you don't understand why we buy oil from foreign nations...

Yes, Chrysler copied the lotus Europa for the their EV. But The final production car will not look like this.
Here comes the next gen of cars for the general masses. Electric is where its at ... Mass production will make it much cheaper, and more affordable. The Key is more affordable ! The cheaper it is, the quicker we get the population off the Opec oil tit !!! We need to stop allowing other countrys to control our Economy !!!

This is an amazing vehicle... hopefully it'll be on the market in near future...

lotus europa?
I don't care what it looks like. If this technology was put in mass production, then all aspects of the ev would develop and prices of batts would decrease as they would be "mass produced". They would get better, safer, faster, more endurance. I'd like to see a cool looking solar cell body. Build nuke plants, upgrade the power grid and build these cars now. These oil countries will be begging for us to buy a barrel of oil at $10 a barrel, and we can say, "we will call you if we need you".

That's a pretty nifty car. Too bad Americans will never get to own one. Dodge will never put this car on the market. NEVER.
Electric cars threaten the powerful entities that need things to remain the way they are. Energy producers will never allow clean technologies to replace oil and coal.
