Because this video is also an amp test,I only used Hughes & Kettner's own distortion and spring reverb,no other distortion and delay or chorus pedals were used. Other pedals used are:Electro-Harmonix Black finger compressor and Boss GE-7.In my opinion,this baby is the best small/medium size tube amp I have ever played,it's very responsive to my playing and the distortion is warm but still wild enough. The spring reverb isn't quite enough,that's my only complaint.The amp was picked by a CAD M177 mic which is mainly used to record human voices,so there is confinement.

Other technical resources used:Echo audiofire 8 soundcard,CAD M177 mic(both voice and amp),Tracktion 2 software,Windows vista home,Windows movie maker.

Constructive critiques are more than welcome,but 2 or 3 words' comments don't really help me much,so save your comments if you are going to leave such a short comment. As to insulting comments,like what I always did with my previous videos,I will delete the comment and spam this ID forever.Thanks.

  • hey yo where r u frm??

    n maan.....u play pretty good ;)

  • @CCLClov I'm from Mainland China, currently in Boston, will move to Chicago next month and will stay in Chicago for several years before back to China. I've updated my info in my channel. I'm sorry for the late reply, having been extremely busy for one year in the some big changes in my life.

  • Your techique is not good enough to play correctly this solo, but you can improve studying it very slow (60-70 bpm) and increasing slowling the speed.

    I can suggest you to separate it in small parts, study very good every part and then put it together.

    Pay attention to:

    1. Bendings: often you miss the destination note;

    2. alternate picking: start slowly and pick every note. If you miss and do legato instead, slow the metronome and practice more.

    3. Good work and have fun!

  • Thank you for your advice! I haven't played for a while. It's nice to pick up guitar again some day.

  • hi! regardz to the vocalist..nice voice...

  • Thank you!
