The US government has granted special immigration status to Haitians now living illegally in the United States, protecting them from deportation for 18 months and allowing them to work. Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano says the US considers the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) measure a form of economic assistance for Haiti. Roxana Romero has more for VOA from Miami, Florida.
TPS more like amnesty. Deport them. Wedon't need more Illegal welfare recipients. Overburden the system? I see how progressive humanitarism works now.

We should just take in Haiti like we did Puerto Rico! It's a VERY SMALL island so it shouldn't be that bad! bring all the Haitians to the USA and give the rest of the land to Dominican Republican

On top of billions of tax dollars, Michelle Obama implores us to give more via txt msgs and stuff. Its like tipping at a restaurant that already adds a 15% gratuity on the bill. They wont leave they'll say they've been here so long that they're US citizens now. Also, If she had a house in Haiti why was she here? Because Haiti sucks ass and they will all migrate here if we let them and use this earthquake as a stepping stone.

After the TPS is over, does anyone really think thell be deported. American taxpayers got really screwed giving the most aid to Haiti. America will give Billions, China 5 million. The Chinese know and bad investment.
