@KingSt3w It's so they wouldn't risk any wear and tear, or damaging it on the way there... who would want to take that kind of risk right before you were going to set a record?

"182 MPH and drive it home". If this were true, why was it towed to the track?

does he remind u of the guy from ice road truckers

@DrJohnBecker thats to prove how tough the truck iss hahaha

FORD BIG TIME SCORE :)

And for you all complaining about the overweight driver, I don't see YOU out there in YOUR trucks! Half of you are probably as big as he is. Quit hating just because you're jealous. :P

@6823CJ I just watched a clip about Gale Banks' Dakota. It may hold the record for all around fastest truck, but this truck holds the record for both fastest bio-diesel and PRODUCTION diesel. Meaning most of the parts were Ford performance parts so it's considered a production engine. Gale Banks is an AFTERMARKET company so it cannot be considered in the same category. No, this Ford isn't THE fastest truck, but it IS the fastest PRODUCTION truck. It's not heavily modded like Banks' Dodge

@SUPERMOPAR91 That's why I say, if you don't have to haul or tow very often, buy a decent car or SUV with a tow hitch. It'll still do the job and leave the trucks to those like me who use them for what they were originally intended, to haul things. Again, this is MY OPINION, so please don't be rude in your reply since I know you'll probably have something to say about this.
THAT'S WHY FORD IS MY FAVORITE MOTOR COMPANY!!!
