The Buddy Miles classic. Funky. Gregg sits out this one, replaced by Jimmy Smith. Jerry Jemmott, one of the great blues bassists who was in high demand in the late 60's and 70's, played bass instead of Oteil.
Ron Holloway played saxophone. On drums is Bernard Purdie , Warren sung the tune well.
The guys from Widespread Panic (Hall and Herring) joined for the 2nd set.

  • Yeah that is Legend Bernard "Pretty" Purdie (Steely Dan, Aretha Franklin, James Brown) on drums. Still sounding good at the age of 70-71.

  • Jerry, of all the songs you probably worked up with the Allmans, why is this the only video? When I had to play "Them Changes," I about blew my brains out after the 10,000 time, know I mean? Still you give it what it needs and you remain the groovemaster, especially right after your solo break -- you take off, man! You leave those white kids in the dust!

  • What a high quality video! The band is excellent, and I really like how you frame your shots.
