It's actually rare to see a heavy person dance industrial, due to the fact that it's such an intense workout.

I mean no insult to anyone.I have my own ways of doing things as well I am just used to much more movement with my legs and arms even my torso...It is an amazing work out,your legs get stronger,your upper body gets stronger,My groin muscles got stronger(yup I am female and we do have groin muscles too) I actually hate seeing others dance I just like doing it without interruption.When I am on the dance floor anyone that knows me,knows better than to talk to me while I'm there..or I get aggrivated

I remember a time when kids who came out in hot topic merchandise (instead of making their own gear) and danced by mimicking each other (and us old timers) were stomped off the floor and wouldn't post some kind of cliche "representation" of industrial dancing. The most fundamental part of the scene was self expression, not cookie cutter kinder-bats with practiced (and identical) "moves". As far as the heavy girl, they aren't a rarity, and most dance harder than the skinny little babygoths.
