A new exhibit at The Museum of Modern Art is causing discomfort among some visitors by bringing them close to non-clothed performers — some might say too close.

Two performers in their birthday suit stand inches apart in a narrow doorway of the exhibit of work by Yugoslavian-born artist Marina Abramovic, which opened on Sunday.
The position of the models, who alternate and are either opposite or same-gender performers, forces patrons to decide whether to walk between them.

  • if you don't want to see the exhibit - DON'T LOOK. i know, here in the US we don't take control of our own actions, we find it better to impose our beliefs and desires onto everyone else. and for goodness sakes - CHILDREN MIGHT SEE A NAKED BODY!!! Gee wizz - i've seen naked bodies my whole life and it hasn't affected me in the least. if you raise the child to believe it's 'nasty' then they will believe it is nasty. grow up - you're supposed to be the adult. • What a fucking retard, he knows fuck-all about art. This exhibit is not the same as sexualization of society, it may well be a parody or critique of it. I can't believe this video has many likes, if you're not capable of interpreting art, don't fucking try to criticise it. What makes him think his is a valid opinion regarding this art exhibit?

  • boy oh boy... i can't believe you can actually make a video with such retarded concepts. criticism is one thing. complete ignorance is something else...

  • lets see, i dont understand why you can judge something just because is nude, i dont see anything wrong with that..if u are thinking they are just two pervs maybe u are one, everyone whos involved in this world we named art just see two bodys we dont even see them as people.

ok maybe its not necessary use naked bodys, but u have to think what does it stands for; whats nudity? why two? and if u dont like it, dont watch it and dont judge something u have never experienced:)

  • fuck

  • wow black man your to much in church or relagion common this is 2012 now move on and get use to it and yes it is very nice art thx do you think poeple on youtube will leave good comment about your shit common bro get real

  • The human body is art, but doing it like that is a whole different type. Their using the naked body as an excuss to say "oh, I was sexually asulted", but using that for that museum is the wrong way to use it. If you wanna see nake body as art go to a different video, because that isn't art!. Art is when you use your body and other structures of art with the photos or films.

  • LOL, if people would stop being such prudes and not see nudity as disgusting then it wouldn't be a bad thing. If you keep teaching children the body is something to be hidden then they will continue to think just like you do.

  • That was actually a performance piece by a super wicked awesome artist named Maria Abramovic… it was supposed to make people who walk into the room uncomfortable and have to choose which way they wanted to enter (butt touching woman or man vs genitals touching woman or man) … kinda like in fight club where tyler is on the plane and he says "Now, as a question of etiquette- as I pass, do I give you the ass or the crotch?"…kinda awesome, no?

  • Good video man.
