Wake Up The Town -- Official Trailer. Wake Up The Town focusses on an Arctic town, a winter without sun and the Philips Wake-up Light. Can the Wake-up Light help people wake up feeling refreshed in the arctic darkness? And how do people live in the northernmost town on the planet? Amazing film by Doug Pray, director of the highly acclaimed, 'Art & Copy' and 'Surfwise', which really tests the Philips Wake-up Light.

  • Very nice!!!

    Very high quality!!

  • On the first alarm, I press the snooze button and turn on the light.

Then I press the snooze button until my wife's alarm rings, too.

Then i go for a shower.

I wonder if a new high tech product derived from space research can make my life better.

  • People in Scandinavia are very good at english i have noticed

  • aw, i want this. i live in sweden, feels like it's dark forever

  • I actually live in a town nearby, and we also have about 4 months of total darkness. It's kind of beautiful, in it's own sort of way. But personally, I fucking hate it. Winter depression can get so fucking bad, waking up in the morning or going to bed at night is impossible, so I mostly walk around as a fucking zombie.

The good thing though is that we have 4 months with sun/light 24/7, and I just fucking love that time. Nothing better than sitting out till 4AM with a beer and sun all night.

  • i love the night...i should move there :p

  • An amazing video of an incredible place. Truely awesome, but I wouldn't want to live there.

  • Way Cool! :)

  • it's a trailer for an experiment made by Philips in order to find out whether their product "wake-up light", is effective. That is, if it replicates the morning light and be able to help people wake up in the same way as the morning sun's light does.

  • muy bueno desde argentina!!!

  • very cool

  • @KobraCola What you think?
