  • Yes lespaulguitargod I know it's a showmaster, but that seemed like an ego-centric title .. Showmaster Echoman .. Bc-)

  • Very cool!

I like your sounds, your playing is exciting, I just like the different notes you play, it's not that standard predictable "noodling", it's exciting and fresh.

AND of course your vibrato is an envy for every guitarist, look at 1:38!!

I will prepare a video response :) I'm enjoying this

(My previous comment didn't show up)

  • thanks bud ... the online encoded version sounds muddy

No musical training helps break any molds ...

email me details YOUR video production technique .. I've got some learning to do from that, and I'm still analyzing your first vid response ... it's telecaster clean and there are few licks I plan to ... steal

showed my "boys" in the band ... they gave it the surfer salute.

  • It is. The arm is removable.

  • I love my Showmaster. I was gonna buy another one, but the assholes at Fender discontinued it right under my nose. Why? I have no idea. It's not only beautiful but it sounds and plays great. I dumped a Seymour Duncan SH-6 in the bridge position and Oh, Man does it scream.

  • I really like this guitar.I was going to purchase it but, before i saved up the money they were all discontinued. This is sure on my want list hopefully Fender will run them again.

  • I have one and I'm going to replace the bridge pickup with a DiMarzio Evolution...which comes out of an Ibanez...But I like the cutaway on the Fender so...Unless your going to get a Ibanez JEM I would spend your money on the Fender...I put it through a Line 6 POD 2.0 to a Crate...It sounds ok but I want that Round 'n round sound that ratt gets and you will not find screaming highs here...just bone crushing lows...btw there is a big diff between the single coil and humbuckers so Its fun to switch

  • ...I'm pretty sure thats a Fender Showmaster FMT(Flame Maple Top) HH(Hum-Buckers)...and it also looks like someone lost their whammy bar =O -man that sounds messed up w/e

  • great sound!

  • Great performance!!! I have the same guitar too, good sound and exellent sustain. Greetings from Germany

  • i think i rather prefer if this was played on a telecaster lol but thats my opionion.

  • for jazz, yes

  • I does Jazz/fusion pretty well. Better might be a Godin -- about the same price. Saw John McLaughlin playing a Godin on the 2008 Crossroads DVD and he sounds great.
