Here is some video from spring of 2006 when I was testing a camera mount. It is pretty uneventful, but I'm cleaning out my hard drive... here ya go

  • Actually, this was after the supercharger was installed, but before any serious tuning was undertaken.

  • The camera (in this case) is a hand held miniDV. These cameras are small and light enough that they do not need much support. This mount I made from aluminum channel. It spans the dash and is held in place by tension between the windshield posts. It is further stabilized with some small extension springs that clamp to the lower dash lip. It is not as obtrusive as it sounds. I'm guessing that something similar could be done with an MGB as well.

  • Thank you for this. It reminds me of my trip to the US in '03. So much different from where I live in the UK. These 5 minutes of live action footage instantly brought back memories of my road trips through CO, UT, AZ, NM and PA.

  • I take it this was before the Moss supercharger kit install? Sure revs different. Cheers, Drew.

  • I'd like one for my MGB, but I don't want a roll bar. Where's the camera mounted? What type is it?
