Betty and Barney Hill were an American couple who claimed to have been abducted by extraterrestrials in a rural portion of New Hampshire on September 19--20, 1961. This is a 1975 film about that case.

James Earl Jones gives such a compelling performance in this movie. Estelle Parsons is also excellent, but Jones is a stand out.

i've just read both books, capture and the interrupted journey, as they mention after the experiment, he go into the car, looked back and found the dog under the back seat, and that she grabbed the dog minutes later when they were leaving, seems the dog just slept the entire time, probaby a well trained dog or the dog is one of those dogs that needs their master to move, probably it was scared or just sleeping, but true, strange they didn't do anything to it.
