Russia is a Barbaric state pretending to be a civilized country. They were pissed off with Georgians, among other envious reasons, by seeing Georgia becoming Democratic, developed, no corruption country.
Russia tries to prove the democratic world that her way is better and stronger.
Russian troops are the most infamous in committing atrocities in Afganistan, Chechnia where ther just killed al resisting population. that's not a a fantasy that's reality
