@kacin87 I believe its the skin effect of current, where the electricity will run across their conductive metal "skin", than through their physical bodies.

@MrJas1991 Be sure to time your peak with the Megavolt show, because what I found was that you can feel...in a really intense way, the static electricity in the air within 50 feet of that van. It is amazing.

Burning man looks like such a mindfuck. If I go I will be sure to bring a bunch of acid with me :)

this thing is coming back this year...

the point at which electricity is discharged into the air is usually around 100,000 - 300,000 volts, so those coils are likely somewhere in that range. Also, the principal is the skin principal, and when you shield yourself from electricity using a conductive metal, it's known as Faraday Caging. The charge stays on the outer few microns of metal and so they don't actually penetrate into the suit and electrocute the person.

Where is Doc Mega Volt Now?

is there anyone know this principle, how can it be? ı found this video when searching michael faraday, do they use faraday cage? or are they ground themself

They're wearing metal suits and cages over their heads, which act as Faraday cages and conduct the electricity straight to ground rather than through their bodies. Also, as chrisaaslid said earlier, while the voltage is high, the amperage is low.

See the caption: 70,000 volts. Pretty gnarly.
