2012 Mustang MyColor Tachometer turns red at redline

So I just noticed the tachometer on my new 2012 Mustang GT turns red when you reach redline. Not sure when this was added, but the previous MyColor version in my 2007 never did this.

@3point7v6Stang I wasn't dissing anyone, but that's just what people have referred to them for decades, cars used to have a little red light on them years ago that would flash red to let someone know when to shift, hence the the term idiot light. You shift by sound in a street car, not by lights.

Ford is stupid, they should have place a green light before the red lights up that way it can be a additional guide to shift timing.
