This was the last ever united world championship, after this tournament the WDC (now known as PDC) split off and formed their own.

@501darts180 you took the words out of my mouth. I hate adams, the bdo has no good stiff competition like it has back then with lowe, taylor, bristow, jocky wilson etc. PDC is the way forward.

He gave a little smile the other day, but that match was so important to him, if he celebrated loads then he would have thrown his rhythm and he DIDNT wanna loose against klaasen again. Watch wades 9 darter... he celebrated like a fookin maniac and then throws crap for the next set or so.

Great video, but shouldn't the title be Embassy 1993? It was not the Lakeside back then, the name changed in 2003 or something like that.

The main sponser may have been the embassy but the tournament was still held at the lakeside. Therefore, an appropriate title :)
