A news report of a sheriffs deputy in Blanchard in McClain County Oklahoma shot and killed an innocent dog. He thought no one would see it but it was all caught on tape!!!

I'm not a cop lover, but this was a tough call. If I was the cop and there was a big dog running towards me, without knowing the dog's intention of running towards me at full speed is a scary thought. Yes, the dog could be playful/harmless, or the dog could feel defensive because you're in its territory. Regardless, tough call.

He could have tazered the dog if it was truly attacking him... A dog is as good as his teeth, if he can't bite or kick, he's rendered harmless. This is not the case with humans, as a person who will willing fight through the horrible pain can still pull the trigger. I believe the conversation in the car was like this
"Hey Tom, you see that fuckin' dog?"
"Yup?"
"I'mma shoot it"
"Hahaha do it!"
I swear, I ain't even joking one bit nor am I exaggerating. If that's my dog, I'm going on a cop hunt.
