Yes, Elvis sure did do this song. It was a favorite of his and loved to perform it onstage in Vegas. He and BJ were friends and he really liked the song when BJ recorded it. Elvis recorded it in a slightly faster tempo and had a big horn section.What better compliment could you get than Elvis really liking your singing.
