The television phenomenon of our time (no, not "According to Jim") is now the RiffTrax phenomenon of this week! Yes, "Lost", the thrilling saga of a group of castaways -- of varying degrees of hotness -- and their struggle to survive without having to resort to wholesale drinking of their own urine. "Lost" conveys the wit, intrigue and fierce intelligence of "Gilligan's Island" in a modern setting -- and without the mind-shattering annoyance of Bob Denver!

If you like your "Lost" with a little something on the side, you'll love Kevin and Mike's take on the pilot episode.

(Note: the pilot is two hours split in half, so this RiffTrax comes in two parts. And, yes, you'll get both for the $2.99 price.)

  • Beached Hurley!

  • because they make fun of good movies that would never let them have the rights to make fun of it all for example

Star Wars, Matrix, The Dark Knight etc.

  • Not really. I think you just feel that the riffs are more vicious because you empathize more with the movies and series chosen for Rifftrax than with the old sci-fi movies of MST3K. Frankly, I think its a good idea that they're lambasting many decent series to remind us that these movies and TV shows are not art, but mere entertainment. Riffing "Citizen Kane" or the "The Godfather" wouldn't be as enjoyable, since those films express art and meaning in a way "Lost" just can't do. Not that its bad

  • Probably because they don't own the rights to MST3K, viacom does.

  • Is this was done on MST3K, They would definatly be some crazy host segments about this series.

  • HAHA the plane explodes...wtf?! "Inexplicably the wing was filled with match heads, a lot of match heads".
