Stephen Baer presented a thoughtful speech titled "When-itis." He explained that many people want to be happy in the future, but in reality, we should live in the present. Stephen shared personal anecdotes of his relationship with his father and his challenge-loving friend. Within these examples, Stephen demonstrated that life flies by quickly. Every time one thinks he or she is not good enough or does not take time to smell the roses, one is taking away from the present happiness that can be found. Stephen proposes that when-itis can be cured with genuine compliments and smiles.
