C.corpse were fucking badass... And I only saw half their set to get in early for mainstage front row...... Meeting them was badass too make sure u check the meet and greets

i dont know, i think it was fair for marilyn to close the show. i respect slayer and i know they get the mosh pits and shit going way more than he does, but i think MM has alot more emotion in his singing rather then just being angry. for that, i think marilyn has alot more connection to the fans. maybe thats just me but i think the people that organized the lineup made the right choice.

I honestly didnt think 09 would possibly beat 08 after Slipknot & Disturbed (being 2 of my most favorite bands) just kicked so much ass, but 09 was amazing. Even the bands I didnt like at all still put on a great show, and getting to meet/getting shit signed by All That Remains & Trivium was awesome. Manson was a slight disappointment in Hartford though, he didnt really do many of the creepy voices he makes in his songs, and only screamed a few times.

Slayer and Behemoth are the best band on Mayhem Festival...

Oh, yeah, he's one of the best performers there. As for the whole "Is he heavy?" thing, in general, no, but he does have really heavy songs in his setlist, like Irresponsible Hate Anthem, Little Horn, and The Beautiful People.
