@davvvvo take 3rd grade grammar again bud.

I am 99.9% sure that none of them survived... SF Bay is dangerously cold even in the early spring.

It counts as an escape. Even if they died on the raft, they died free men.

The strongest arguments that Morris and the Anglins didn't survive: 1) no cars were stolen and no buildings on the mainland were burglarized following the escape and 2) none of the escapees was ever arrested for committing another crime. Insofar as the second point is concerned, you have to remember that Morris and the Anglins were career criminals with few marketable skills and/or relationships outside prison. If any of them survived, they would've been arrested again sooner or later.

that cool how they did that

I think that alcatraz shouldve had a rule that if you escaped then you were a free man

@mmode ummm, yeah, i meant conscience, but I think normal ppl would've grasped that. but if you are such a smart aleck, add some valid points instead of cluttering up comment areas with your self-appreciation...

@xXxXBleedPurpleXxXx if you were desperate, had all the time in the world putting pieces together, and you were already a sneak/liar, then of course some people will glorify that and believe its "genius"
