hes gotten more handsome as he gets older but damn hes always been a cutie, looks a bit like Clive Owen here as he does on occasion in some of his earlier stuff. His voice is what draws me in though, I love it.

that's for sure, he's like a good wine, getting better while ageing. But do you really think he's looking a bit like Clive? Don't get me wrong, nothing against pretty boy Clive, but I have seen ALL Daniel is in (exepct 2 bits of very early TV stuff) and he never has reminded me of Clive...

He seems to have been a lot more articulate back then and confident speaking.

In recent interviews, he mumbles and backtracks and stutters a lot more.

IMO that depends on the interviewer. If he is asked investigative questions and the interviewer shows really interest in his work than he's articulate and informative. And this interview was made before he has really experienced what the "Journaille" is able to spread and misinterpret. He's much more cautious now and not often really on ease.

I think he looks so young because he isn't trained yet for the bond movie 'Casino Royal'.

If this interview is made after the movie then I don't know why he looks so young.

Anyway, this is my conclusion.

this interview is made in 1997 after the filming of "Obsession".....so he looks young, because ge was young back then

hes much slimmer here, almost skinny (maybe it's his hairdress that highlights his features), his lips are redder too and his eyes are lighter... all in all, is it me or does he kinda look like a vampire? lol

its just on a rare occasion that I see the similarity. The hair, the eyes, and the lips I think that's what it is but I can't put my finger on it.
