  • WOW! You have a set of lungs! Thank you for this video, it really made this hymn come to life for me for my English class :)

  • @PinkGloom Thank you very much! I'm so glad to know this has been used for academic purposes out there.

  • Well done. Out of curiosity, is this an attempt at an 8th century composition? I presumed not, since I'm sure you're aware that polyphony wasn't invented in Europe till the 12th century.

  • Oh no. I've had enough music history to know that is the case. I just wanted in the accompaniment something simplistic that sounded nice with the sung text.

  • I would just like to say thank you to all who have commented on this video. I really loved working with the language, although I was new to it, and I hope to take on more projects like this in the future!

  • hmm, this sounds like a pretty standard west Saxon pronunciation

  • @psykl0n from me :)

  • What an amazing voice!

  • I was wondering what this would sound like sung. Thanks.

  • Nice! It would be sound far better, though, if the song were accompanied by some ancient instrument, i.e. a lyre or a hurdy gurdy, rather than a modern piano.

  • Dude! Did not expect that kind of voice! This is incredible!

  • Loved it! Really nice arrangement of the poem!

  • Could someone tell me where can i listen old saxon songs?

  • very cool! you have a powerful voice. thanks so much for sharing!

  • So.... Do you like to party? WOOF!

  • @psykl0n Just grab a learning book and do some internet research.
