Everyone should have some sort of collection. I think puzzles is more fun than coins or stamps though, don't you?

**** **** **** ****
My puzzle collection includes (sorted by Shape first, and function second, for your convenience):

Cube Shaped Puzzles:
************************

(~15x) 3x3s: It's hard to keep track of the exact number. Most of these are various DIYs, some are RNAs (Rubik's Brand), some are knockoff brands. I also have one Studio Cube, which is very nice.

(3x) 4x4s: Two Rubik's Revenge and one Eastsheen 4x4.

(3x) 5x5s: Rubik's, Eastsheen, and V-Cubes. I like all three.

A 7x7: Very impressive mechanism. I love this puzzle, it's one that I think all collectors should have.

(4x) Square-1s: Three black DiYs, and a white DiY.

A Skewb: Mine is a 3D Skewb. Strange mechanism.

(5x) 2x2s: Two normal Rubik's, one Ice Cube, an (modded) Eastsheen, and a giant 57mm Rubik's.

A Keychain 3x3: This will likely be modding-fodder later.

A 1x1x1 and a 1x1x2: For shits and giggles. :)

A Siamese Cube: This is a mod you have to do yourself, it is very easy to make.

A 3x3x4 Extended: This is also something you have to make, and it is even easier than the Siamese.

An Icon: This is just a greyscale 3x3.
An Oilers Hockey Cube: Ummm, yeah.
A So-Du-Cube: This is lame.

Dodecahedron Shaped Puzzles (12 sides):
**************** ********* ********* ***********

(5x) Megaminxes: Three PVC Megaminxes, an MF8 Megaminx, and a Chinese Megaminx. I recommend either the PVC or MF8. Message me for more details.

A Pyraminx Crystal: Huge, heavy, and a lot of fun to solve. It's like a megaminx, except you turn an extra row of edges with every twist, making all megaminx algorithms worthless.

Spherical Puzzles:
********************

(2x) Rubik's Worlds: These are just round 2x2s. Fun to solve.

An Impossiball: Essentially megaminx corners.

A Magic/Miracle Sphere: A strange sliding tile puzzle. Intuitive to solve, but time consuming as well.

A Rubik's Brain Racker: A fun sliding tile puzzle with many different 'modes' of solving. I bought this at VOS 2008.

Other "Twisty" Puzzles:
************************

A Platypus: This is a strange puzzle with 6 sides, but only 3 "edges" per side, and no corners. This is very easy to solve.

A Rubik's UFO: A fun puzzle. Funner to have than it is to solve, if that makes sense.

(3x) Rubik's Magics: Well, yeah.. I do consider this a twisty puzzle. The first move in the solve is a twist!

Other "Sliding" Puzzles:
*************************

A Flip-Side: One of my first obscure puzzles. I think this is when I started collecting more than just cubes.

A 15-Puzzle: The most intuitive solve ever.

Rush Hour: This is a different kind of puzzle.. more of a solitaire-type board game.

A Twister: This is a wooden bead type puzzle. This is super-classy looking which is why I bought it. Challenging at first, but once you learn the trick it's too easy.

Burr-Type Puzzles:
********************

Several Burr-Type Puzzles: 4 wooden burr puzzles, an Idea Cube, and a Tetris Cube.

A Tantrix: I don't play with this.

Miscellaneous:
****************

A Rubik's Revolution: SHAME ON YOU, RUBIK'S!

I may have missed some things in this list... I hope you like my collection!

Places to buy puzzles:

You can order most puzzles at the following sites:
http://www.cubefans.com
http://www.cube4you.com
http://www.mefferts.com
http://v-cubes.com

You can buy everything else here:
hhhp://www.ebay.com

Please don't ask me which stores I buy my puzzles from. "River-City Games" and "Kites and Other Delights" probably don't even exist where you live. You can sometimes find puzzles anywhere that they sell board games and toys.

About half of my puzzles have cubesmith tiles or stickers. I recommend tiling some of your puzzles if you have some money kicking around:

  • @LanceTheBlueKnight Collectively, how much have you paid for your entire collection? Nice collection by the way, i only have 8 different cubes so far.

  • @MCMasterChef

Kind of a weird question, but I would guess maybe about 800 dollars or so? I really have no clue.

  • Terry Goodkind is my favorite author man! And when I saw you had his books in the background at 2:06 I had to comment. Have you bought The Omen Machine by him?Sorry this has nothing to do with your puzzles though.

  • @HoppoLOL

Not yet, the soft cover isn't out yet I don't think... Hard cover costs like 36 dollars.

  • do you know how to make ALL of those or do you just collect ??

  • @Jakobus999

Yes, I can solve any of these.
