Bullshit, I'm rough as hell on my phones, this case not only protected my 1 gen iphone for a long time but took a direct hit on the corner in a bike crash and chewed it to hell. Phone is fine.
The reason this case works so well is because it is so tight it doesn't have any movement on the phone and it doesn't have any parts that cover the front. This case gets the least amount of dirt/debris in it of all the cases (this being my third hard case forget the soft ones)and is easiest to clean.

I totally agree with cases like these can cause scratches along the bezel. On my iphone i use the clear agent 18 and i love it. the best case i ever used. The problem is, when you get a case like the incase slider or the agent 18, the moment you take it out of thebox, clean the phone so there isn't any dirt, dust or grit on it, then clean the new case with a little water and soap and dry it good. Now slide the new case on and there shouldn't be any problems. my phone still is scratch free.

no he is right, these cases are made to be as tight as can be so when any little tiny granular particle gets in and the tight case rubs the grain against the phone and scratches it. most hard cases suffer from this.

Another incase product that scratches your iPhone BIG TIME! A friend of mine bought this case (I tried to warn him!) and it is cool that you can use it with the charging dock, but low and behold he took it out of the case and bingo, scratched to heck!
