This Potter fire bell is an AC bell so I had to make a conversion circuit so it could be run off my panel. This is a test in March Time, Code-3 and Continuous.

  • You wanna trade that Potter PBA246 for a Wheelock Chime or SpectrAlert horn only?

  • Sorry, I have a Wheelock Chime/strobe and I have a SpectrAlert horn/strobe. Plus this bell was a gift and I dont like trading gifts.

  • Cool! Are Potter and Amseco related somehow?

  • yes. Potter owns Amseco.

  • Does anyone have a 10" Potter? If you do, please post it here on YouTube! It'd be great if we could get one here on this site.

  • i think this is the bell i have! it sounds less ringy though but i dont know.

  • this bell sounds good

  • Exactly.

  • other times, you can barely hear a horn if a bell is sounding nearby. It really just depends on which alarms you are comparing.

  • depeds on the bell and the horn. In one of samburner3's videos, the System Sensor MASS he used was far louder than theAMPAC bell.

  • which is louder? bell fire alarms or electronic fire alarms?
