Cast on sts on two double pointed needles and work one needle at the time in the round. After cast on and one row on each needle (i.e. 1 round) start inc 1 st each side of both needles on every other round to as many needed for width of foot. After a couple of rounds divide the sts on 4 dpn's and keep working in the round.
This is a cast on method great for socks, mittens and other projects worked in the round where you don't want an uneven and bulky seam.

  • We are using DROPS Eskimo 100% wool and needles size 9 mm US13

  • WHERE'S THE SOUND??

  • Since our viewers are from all over the world and we ourselves are from Scandinavia, we decided no spoken language/sound is better than confusing/disturbing people speaking a language they do not understand :-)

  • Fantastic! I'm so happy for no sound! I get lost and bored with other videos using this technique because of the talking. Thank you. =)

  • thanks

  • where is the sound?? I see leslie h asked over year ago?

  • so in the end, all I've to do is to keep knitting??????

by the way, can u make another video about the how to put the thumb part for the mitten??????

This is really amazing for a starter like me because I've never seen anyone knit with 4 needle in my life, but i saw a girl knitting in the drama so that's how i got interested in it

If u don't mind making an another video for how to add the thumb part, it will be really helpful for me.

Thank you for this video and Hope you have a good new year :

  • I've seen a number of your videos and find them to be very helpful. No need for sound - the knitter stops and points at the key steps, making it all very clear. Great job!

  • This was the best demonstration of this I've seen. NO SOUND! It's so much less distracting. I also like the way you stopped at the important times.
