The Comedy Central Roast of Pamela Anderson was first broadcast on August 14, 2005. Joel Gallen was the program's Executive Producer; Aaron Matthew Lee was the Head Writer. Anderson was roasted by Jimmy Kimmel, who was the roast master, as well as Courtney Love, Adam Carolla, Bea Arthur, Nick DiPaolo, Greg Giraldo, Elon Gold, Eddie Griffin, Lady Bunny, Lisa Lampanelli, Tommy Lee, Jeffrey Ross, Gilbert Gottfried, Sarah Silverman, Andy Dick, and pre-taped appearances by David Spade and Hugh Hefner. This roast featured a large amount of jokes and satire regarding sex directed from roasters toward fellow roasters, complete with Andy Dick appearing as Pamela's plastic surgeon and groping her breasts as part of his skit. Many of the jokes were also directed at Courtney Love for appearing to be inebriated (but claiming to have been sober for a year), Bea Arthur's masculinity, Andy Dick's sexual ambiguity and Lisa Lampanelli's full figured body as well as her attraction towards African Americans.

All the fake gushing over this whore is pretty gross. Let's face it: she is not a good actress and she is dumb as a rock, as evidenced by the fact that she doesn't get any of the jokes. At least that burnout mess Courtney is fake laughing at some of them. It would also be great if those two tweakers could sit still while people were speaking. It's an annoying distraction from the people that are actually worth seeing.
