Evacuation plan. What do I need to bring with me?

how important is it to be prepared. Is it important at all? This video shows how important it is to be prepared and to have an evacuation plan.

I came to think about a true story from my home country, Norway. A few years back a man was camping in the mountains with his family. He left campus to go to the restroom behind some nearby trees. As he was gone the fog got so thick that he couldn't see where he was going, and he ended up going the wrong way. He was missing for one week. hopefully so did this story help you understand how important it is to be prepared.

My house flooded during the oil spill flood disaster. FEMA put me in housing for about a year until my house wasa rebuilt. Fema also gave me a grant to assist in the repairs. I did NOT have to live in fema housing. It was free and I needed that assistance. I stayed in a brand new trailer. Free of all costs furnished w/brand new furntiutre. Got to keep the dishes and linens when I left to help w/ new items for starting over. Still use those dishes today.
