Meh, regardless of the bad translations, this was still the first dub I saw. And hell... even with the censorship its better than that awful dub that later came out (which was a good dub for after the freeza saga, admitted).

Tien sounds much better than Tenshinshan. And how do you a make a square with your hand? Watch the scene when he attacks Cell, he very clearly forms a triangle with his both of his hands, which makes perfect sense because a triangle is made up of three sides + corners.

Though "Tri-Beam" is probably the dumbest dub name for an attack, he makes a square with his hand, and it makes a square when fired against the ground, why did they rename Ki-Ko-Ho to "Tri-Beam"?! It's even worse than Tenshinhan being renamed to Tien, it's as though they were trying to fuck him up as much as possible...
