  • HELL YEAH, now vocoder actually makes sense :D

  • xlingk - These guys know what they doing. They gonna build the program in such way so we wont need any of vst stuff. VST sometimes is a little bugy. Propellerhead creates the most stable programs even if you run it on windows - pc.

  • Sup y'all? So, to the point to the point no fakin'...

MPD32 or NI MASCHINE to use with REASON.

I'm going crazy over the break beats and boom bap style hip hop with a little dubstep and wouldn't mind manufacturing some sounds/rhythms/beats of my own.

I'll be checking out the stores but was after some opinions on hardware, midi controllers, issues of setup, things of this nature. Any input is heaps appreciated.

3mnths ago I was essentially a metal/rock head w/ rocks in his head...

  • lol at the vocalder part!

  • nice nice nice!!

  • @NewRisingSong this is the only program for me that have NEVER crashed!

  • wow, to be honest the only exposure i have had to reason has been reason adapted plugin for protools. i cant be bothered to use it as a RTAS rewire, and i am a little sick of protools arduous workflow. hopefully this can integrate music production tools for a more seamless production environment, encouraging creativity.

  • thank from france for this record innovative program , exactly what i was waiting for.i used reason with cubase in rewire and it was boring , long time to complete a song, it allows to have a faster result, the real better innovation is the work with "block" in sequencer , real progresse , i was redesigned my home studio in all vst , now i doubt , it seem very intuitive , it lets place to creation more than other soft , where you spent to much time troubleshoot , here you only think music

  • @psychalysis absolutely relevant, thanks very much for that shortcut, just bumped up the flow in reason for me big time, never got this to work until I tried it again.

  • @spacemanvector32

Copy n paste in reason while playing?

If that's what you're on about, the answer is yes you can.

Ctrl+drag n drop whatever you wanted copied n pasted to wherever you want a copy of it to be. No need to press stop.

    Hope that's relevant

  • If I wanted to quiuckly set up for a band or with a large amount of inputs to record studio or live with different bands how quickly can this be set up to record? Is there a limit to the number of inputs to record @ 1 time? I was looking into the new Presonus firestudio with optical into the digi max. What are your thoughts on this or a different interface with 24 channels? B Nice if you or someone could show a video on how quickly you could set up for a live recording with several inputs

  • Logic is clunky to me because I don't use it enough...actually it's easy! I am used to clunky (pro tools) so the inverse is...wierd. All this yakking about sound....a good set of ears will yield a kickass rocking mix, with a 4track cassete recorder, a couple sm-57's and a cheap compressor and cheesey reverb. Heck it's where i (and many others) started making good and terrible mixes! You know this ; ) Now look where we are...mouse and keyboard wasteland.
