Not as good as the 1994 version; where was my emotional reunion scene? Beauty really didn't have it off quite as bad in this one, did he? Loved how the breed of horse gradually changed, though, and the markings. Apparently switching hands constantly can change a thoroughbred into a friesian. :)

I still hate it that they didn't rescue Ginger though, that's what makes this film so sad too.

The final scenes remind me of the end of Tarkovsky's Ivan's Childhood. Except this is far less dark!

people are just so cruel I'd never treat anything so mean!
I like how he is a totally different horse than he was in the begining. I mean totally different. Went from a fairly light-boned horse (Thoroughbred or something like that), to a draft.
