@yamisupersaiyan And he just left Talia back there... yeah that was troubling.

@WhoTheEffffff to be honest, I don't even remember making that comment. :(

@Syrus7sk Oh I thought you were just confining it to Nolans movies. Yeah bro I totally get you. I have a lot of respect for the Batman character and his morals, but it is kind of stupid when you think about how he keeps letting this guy live who just keeps killing more and more people. Arkham City I think took the relationship to a whole new level though, with Batman carrying him out. I thought that was weird....

@kman20 One thing i hate is people who don't realize this was directed BY Christopher Nolan. I'm also assuming you didn't know that? Then they say The Dark Knight was better...Please tell me that's not what your saying.

@yamisupersaiyan True. But I was speaking more generally. There are plenty of moments where Batman saves or tries to save Joker's life when he didn't need to. Under the Red Hood comes to mind as does Arkham City (the serum). There's also The Phantasm, though that was more for The Phantasm's benefit.
Sometimes I wonder who's really the "boyscout", Superman or Batman. At least Superman was willing to beat Darkseid to death (JL cartoon). Guess who stopped him, lol.

I think he didn't want to kill the Joker because he was mislead, and was insane. Ducard isn't. He betrayed Batman even though he saved his life. He created him, and Batman felt hurt be mistaken about him.

The thing is, with the Joker, Batman pushed him off the top. Here? Ras got himself on the train, and Gordon broke the bottom of it. Batman isn't responsible for Ras being there, and Gordons technically the one breaking the bottom. In TDK, Batman directly pushed him off, thereby being responsible for killing him if he died

When Liam closes his eyes, he is thinking "This is gonna hurt" :)

@conwayandwhitmanman What the hell are you on about? Batman Begins was pretty much just as dark as TDK! You make it sound like Begins was a comedy or something!
"I won't kill you...but I don't have to save you". My favorite line of the movie and it set the tone for Nolan's Batman.

Gordon screaming out "YES!", waving to Batman as he glides, Batman saving the day knocking off Ducard... these moments remind me how fun and optimistic Begins was... then I watch TDK and see how serious and dark it is... that's power of Nolan. To take a genre and make 2 different films within the same world. Can't literally wait for The Dark Knight Rises :D
