@fishlover80 As long as proper water changes are done (35% to 45%) then it should all be good Oh, and if you keep the water at 80 degrees or up towards 84 degrees, then all is good. They do NOT do well under 78. Hard lesson for me to learn, a year with clown loaches, they all died. Ich is their major threat. And if it is too cold, they never get strong enough to fight it

how hardy are clown loaches compared to a guppy?

@fishlover80 - big difference, Loaches like warm water (80-82), and the water needs to very clean and changed regularly.

Hey how long have you had your clowns??
i bought two small ones for my 60gallon tank withh only one other bottom dweller and one top dweller. i want my loaches to get that big

Recommend three or more, they will grow to 5-6" in one-two years in a big tank but then they start slowing down their growth
