John Harrison - Discussion of using PyGame and PySight together with a projector and a laser pointer to create video games controlled entirely through shining a laser on the projection surface. Presentation will include a look at performance concerns, calibration, and implementation issues. As this was a first time Python project some attention will be paid to difficulties in getting started and the material will be relevant to those new to Python as well as those interested in the specific technologies involved. Audience members will be allowed to play the game at the end of the presentation and source code to the game will be provided.
