Thanks for the Vid on this, as I move through this learning experience I am realizing more and more about the 'glass introspective', Honestly it mainly seems to come down to muscle memory, and fine tuning your sensitivity to the slight differences in weight when rotating a piece that has become off center. Even heat base, even rotation, and not puffing too soon or too much are also really important, I hope to someday find another lamper close enough that i can go watch em, or take a class.

@peacepipe215 this question is just to large to make a single video that covers it, and it would take dozens of videos to even cover the basics of this question, I think I prefer the question and answers in this format and then have demo videos separate so we content creators can focus our demos on a single skill or process.

I agree, the single best route is to find someone local that can help you through the initial learning curve. its tough and can be very expensive to learn hollow form, I know I burned through several full length tubes before I got it figured out, and I really did not get anything to show for it while I was learning.

The answer I have given here is pretty broad and for a good reason. The subject is one of the hardest concepts for any given blower to grasp. I tried in my answer to explain this. I stressed the importance that watching another glass blower is critical for the learning curve to manifest. However like Acro says the scope of this concept is very large and would take many many videos to cover the details. I pretty much think it would result in endless questions that just leed to more questions...

@peacepipe215 Thanks for your input. It is valued. I make both kinds of videos. Most of my videos are demonstrations. And also I have asked the viewers to suggest demo videos I could make in response to specific questions. At the same time, some things are easier, or better answered in this format. thanks for watching.
