First of all, Slumdog millionaire was NOT a bollywood movie, It was a movie based on the reality of the slums in India, which people like YOU don't want to see, so it was a reality check for YOU. Secondly, Bollywood cinema WAS good before, it is now a complete pile of crap, you know why? because Indian producers sold themselves to the western ways which is why they started producing such cheap movies that revolve around sexuality.

I honestly dont get it either. People go crazy over my fair skin but I am like white as snow the lightest makeup in america is too dark. And surprise surprise I hate it. Id love to have a dark complexion. I support actresses who speak hindi(fluently), are Indian, and who are trained in classical indian dance! Rani muhkerji :) No british actress can ever beat her!

After watching Ye Maaya Chesaave...!! I can't take my mind out of Samantha..!!

She was Superb....!! The role of Jessy suited and limited to her and only her..!!

I could never have guessed that the actress in this movie was not Indian, and actually British. I really don't mind if foreign actresses play in Bollywood, Tollywood, etc movies. At least, India can lead Hollywood by example, and show that it does not discriminate on the race and ethnicity of the actor or actress.

many actors and actresses come to bollywood when they cant make it to hollywood

like i said; they basically have three types of girls ( bollywood in the family, pageant girls, or few of a different background ( bengali, irani..south indian..etc and their movies never make it; like this one)

shes not even that fair...many indian girls in bollywood movies these days look realistic with less makeup rather than dolled up ..bollywood was created in north india ..most women in bollywood are north indian ...they basically have three types of girls ( bollywood in the family, pageant girls, or few of a different background ( bengali, irani..south indian..etc and their movies never make it; like this one)

well yeah, i wouldnt mind that. like kalki koechlin; she's seriously indian lol. its just i hate the fact that most of the time bollywood goes for women with a ridiculous and rather antiquated notion of 'good looks' (ie, fairness) over actual skills (or beauty even..case in point, i cant believe konkona sen sharma is not dominating bollywood. she's gorgeous as heck, and an amazing actor as well).i, and most indians, love the brown hue of our skin and our dark eyes anyway lol
