You must have one of the newer 1080P Samsung's, because most sets don't have that "Just Scan" feature.

I see, I need to pick up a Samsung then, my Sharp Aquos doesn't have a 1:1 pixel configuration (AKA "just scan" option), so anything that is connected through the HDMI port is overscanned, and about an inch of all four corners it cut off, which really sucks.

In the mean time (until I can afford a new TV) I'm going to try and get a VGA to component cable and try connecting it that way. I read somewhere that overscan only happens through HDMI or DVI on my TV so hopefully this will work.

sure thing buddy, make sure not to buy those cables @ best buy or other similar stores. I bought my HDMI cable on ebay for 7 dollars, but the same cable cost 75 dollars @ best buy :P
