Now that sucks! I am trying to breed my ball pythons this year. This is my first time breeding ball pythons. Only one of my females is going to possibly get gravid. And she is the youngest of all the females I have! But any way good luck with the other eggs.

yea, ive had this happen too. You look in one day and hmmmmm she looks kind of gravid, but im not sure. Next thing you know shes sitting on a big old pile of slugs!

Its a bad year eggs. I had 12 hognose eggs and lost them due to a power outage.

Sorry to hear! I remember a breeder telling me it can never hurt to leave the male in for a good long time. When I first bred the gtps, I put the male in and left him in 4 days a week and did this until about 2 weeks after ovualtion... she had big fertile clutches, so maybe next time just breed him a little longer. = /
