After switching to electronic statements and using email and IM, 99% of my USPS delivered mail is unwanted annoying junk mail, printed on dead trees, delivered by a fossil fuel burning truck. The next week, a fossil fuel burning garbage truck halls all this junk mail away to a dump. #20 of junk mail per week x 100M households. Is this a smart use of money, trees and energy? HR 2309 is a common sense slam dunk IMO.

Somehow they still manage to find ways to lose my mail despite lower mail volume! It's time to end this monopoly and let entrepreneurs fill the gaps. A first class 1 ounce letter must be allowed to compete with the USPS at 44 cents or lower!

SCREW THAT NOISE. USPS should be done away with. Thank goodness for the age of the computer to make life more easier. I really can't remember the last time i paid for a stamp. Hell, i don't know how much they are now. I pay all my bills online. Writing a letter...Really? when i contact loved ones, I go at it via by texting and e-mail. Not snail (ALWAYS FAIL) mail. Good riddance to the mail man. No sympathy from me dude...
