Posted by http://www.nostalgoteket.se Louis Armstrong was the first great jazz soloist; perhaps the greatest ever. And he changed the way the popular song is sung. It's impossible to imagine music without him. And throughout his long career, his only goal was to bring joy to his audience.

  • i used to hear jazz like this all the time when i lived in new orleans and i would go down to the french quarter :) sadly, those days have come and gone no thanks to hurricane katrina. i don't even live in louisiana anymore. makes me miss the old days of jazz and mardi gras. now, i live in the dreary and depressing washington state
